Now Word works fine and when i do a file save or save as the list of available drive and folder comes up quickly and I have no problem saving files
After installing SP2 for Microsoft Office on April 24, 2009, Word has not crashed once when saving (and this is two months ago, smooth sailing). To remove normal.dot search for nor*.dot* This is very good by the way and first thing to do, and enable search hidden files and folders, delete any that comes up. was about to resort to uninstalling word and trying to re-install. Opening the "Browse" dialog using the "Computer" place just hangs up office (or to be more specific: The "Browse" dialog causes Office to become unresponsive). Update 1: Just did an Office Repair and a reboot with no improvement. Yes, my password is: Forgot your password? Should I just try reinstall Office or updating to Office 2013 or will that not help?
Check your Add-ins for any such converters. (win XP Sp3).After that, I saved my document.
