Word 2003 Document Very Slow Over Network

I guess I am still mystified that the delay is most pronounced with Word files. Ask ! Go to other machines (that are very similar - same patch level, etc.) and open the same document from the network? For some reason, that program slows opening files from a network to a crawl. news
