Word 2002 Is Slow

The only thing that helps at all is when I leave one Word window open at all times. In the new, blank document, press Ctrl+V. Stay logged in Welcome to Office Forums!

I have made the registry change recommended by Microsoft in http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/ProbsOpeningWord.htm (in previous posts to this newsgroup) to rename or delete key \HKEY_CURRENT.....\Office\10.0\Word\Data and the key automatically is recreated again. You can check this out by following these general steps: Open the slow document. (Maybe you will need to take a coffee break while it opens.) Open a new, blank document. Commenting privileges may be curtailed if inappropriate images are posted. If not, then at least you know what didn't work.
