After using it a few times, it kept freezing my computer in about a half hour. So we simply uninstalled the device and re-installed only the drivers without the software. The problem was not with the d-link driver but with the associated icon on the task bar which tells you when you are connected or not. Tried uninstalling and installing in a different PCI slot, same issue. These had drivers written for Win 98 and they worked. All Rights Reserved.

Sometimes my computer would take 12-15 hours to freeze, sometimes it would freeze before startup was even completed, at my login screen. Not suppose to work like that.. Thye had someone from UPS come to my aprtment and pick up the package.

The 98 is Pentium II, the ME is Pentium III. Tried a million drivers and tricks. I unistalled the D-link garbage,,but only gained 75% of my old stablity..
