I have taken the battery out, unplugged and then pressed the power button. I havn't found the fix, will just burn more carbon leaving the thing running 24/7 I guess. Vista's sleep/hibernate/shutdown is so unreliable - whenever I sleep/hibernate/shutdown, I wonder which one will actually happen.
