All the networks will be displayed - those your computer's wireless can see, and those it has ever chosen before (such as hotels or airports, in case it ever sees them I have solved my problem and hopefully someone else will benefit from my experience. This same thing happens any time I want to connect to a secure router, even other brands like Bilken. Initially I couldn't connect at all- though I had a strong signal strength, typing in the network password was NOT gaining me access to the internet.
