have uninstalled and reinstalled MSN as well. If you use multiple devices (external HDD particularly), the USB power can be an issue. it shows the icons as grayed out and keeps ringing even after my contact has answered the call.... It does not say anything about the webcam resolution. When I try to take video with it, only a white screen shows up and nothing records. Just click the button below to get help.
If the webcam works fine with other software, try uninstalling yahoo messenger and then reinstalling it. @Brittany - Same thing, if your webcam works downstairs, it will work upstairs.
