We have seen customers encounter a problem where if they refresh their IMAP folder list several times, the Inbox disappears from the list of folders (but all of the messages are It contains a sub folder called "Local Folders" which contains all my old default folders (Inbox, Sent Items, Drafts, etc) along with my many custom folders. BUT, the folder would NOT appear on the other computer no matter how much syncing I did, even a "sync everything." I had to create the folder manually on the second from the menu.

Normally within minutes my laptop is identical to my desktop...I have to say that I also tried this with a laptop that had XP on it - I got one working, And what will you find in that folder?
