Determine whether other files on the same disk can be opened. Hate to mess with drivers as I can end with much worse problems messing with those. This may happen because explorer.exe which is supposed to start-up automatically, did not start at all. Check This Out Basically the issue thats come up is that when ever I try to drag and copy a file from my downloads section of Windows into my hard drive, Windows Explorer crashes.
