I still believe this to be a software fault, but unlikely to be related to the context menu, as it did not occur when right-clicking. Good luck. FN+F9 or F3 does not work and I cannot find it in the Control panel. It's easier to donate a decent working computer than sell. I then did some further tests: Clicking each of the mouse buttons on both of the mice plugged in several times did not resolve it (but did register as clicks), so Now thatI switched to 50" TV, I have to do it manually through "graphics" options. Choice is good.
