The mission of the Gabriele Library is to support the educational goals of Immaculata University and its student body. We have created this CD-ROM to guide you, the student, in using the resources of the library, whether you are working in Gabriele Library or from your computer at home. While we have designed the CD to answer your questions about the library and its resources, we have also designed it to be a helpful guide to other resources available on the Internet and doing research. The Gabriele Library staff encourages you to use and explore the many resources the library has available. We hope you will ask us for help when you need it and use us as a guide during your educational journey at Immaculata. Please remember that whether you use the library on campus or from a computer at home, Gabriele Library is your library and we always welcome your questions, suggestions, and comments.
As you use the CD, you will see that it is designed on two levels. First, the CD contains information about the library, its resources, and how to use and access them. On a second level it goes deeper, providing users with links to information and Internet sites that provide more detailed information about a topic or more specific information for specialized topics. The CD is a resource that will continually grow and change as Gabriele Library, Immaculata University , and the needs of the University's students change. If you know of a resource or site that you think other students would find useful, please let us know and we will see if it can be added to a future edition of the CD. Here is an overview of what you will find in each area on the CD.
