Took the Linux usb stick out, rebooted Windows 10, no ethernet. Mark it as an accepted solution!I am not a Comcast employee. Following solutions may help if you cannot connect to the Ethernet. Try reinstalling your ethernet drivers: Back in Windows, go to the Start menu's Search field or the Windows 8 Search charm, enter device manager, and select Device Manager.
I'm going to try throwing a card in the desktop to see if that helps. I suspect something is wrong with my router since it relays my internet but wireless works fine so I'm stumped. Anyhow i have a work around now....plug and play and getting connection...it is not a serious issue also... RichArtificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.
