If you are using a single hard drive for both versions of Windows, install 98 on the first (primary) partition and XP in the second partition you create. It won't work for Windows 95 games though. Firstly you removed your hard disk from your PC then it setup another PC . There may be specific things you need to do for each to get them to run under XP, and some may be incompatible to the extent that it's unwise to install
