Objectives

Through discussion, collaborative activities, assigned readings, and individual projects, it is expected that the students will be able to:

Define selected terminology and concepts used in modern web development and utilization.
Describe the role of standards and accessibility guidelines in the design and development of web based applications.
Discuss the advantages to web development gained by understanding the users perspective.
Prepare and present either a small website or research presentation that addresses the concepts and techniques taught in this course.

Your grade will be determined by your evolvement in the Discussion Room, presentations and by the completion of two assignments.
